Conservation Areas

Need to escape the city and get back to nature? Do you enjoy hiking, picnics, nature watching, mountain biking, family walks and cross-country skiing? Then you may wish to purchase an Annual Pass to the conservation areas within Central Lake Ontario Conservation and take advantage of the many passive recreational opportunities available.

Conservation Areas Included:

Lynde Shores CA, Heber Down CA, Enniskillen CA, Purple Woods CA, Stephen's Gulch CA, Long Sault CA, Crow's Pass CA and Bowmanville Westside Marshes CA. (See Map)

The Annual Pass covers all conservation area parking fees and general admission fees for a period of one year from the date of purchase. At a cost of only $75 (tax included) the pass is affordable for all and all proceeds go back into maintaining the conservation areas. Please note the pass does not cover admission fees into special events.

Please keep your Annual Pass in a safe place.  If your pass is stolen or lost, you will be required to purchase a new pass.”

To purchase a pass select one of the 3 options below:

  1. Purchase Online - NEW Form & Secure Server (Stripe.com)
    (Best Option - Visa, MasterCard & American Express)
    Pass will be mailed to you.

  2. Download the Conservation Area Annual Pass Order Form (PDF) and return the completed form with payment (VISA or Cheque) via mail or fax to the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Administrative Office. Office address and mail address are on the order form.
    Your permit will be mailed out to you.

  3. Purchase in person at the Authority Administrative Office. Please complete the
    Conservation Area Annual Pass Order Form (PDF) and bring it to the Authority Administrative office at 100 Whiting Ave., Oshawa during business hours (Mon – Fri, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm). Cheque, Debit, VISA, Mastercard or cash accepted.
