Goodman Creek Two Zone AreaOshawa and Goodman Creek Two Zone Floodplain Mapping and Flood Mitigation Study

In 2014, CLOCA completed an update to the Oshawa Creek Floodplain mapping for the entire watershed including the Goodman Two-Zone Floodplain area. As such, the Two-Zone Floodplain mapping which was previously completed for the area (1997 & 2005) no longer corresponds with the current floodplain mapping.

In order to address the need for updated Two-Zone floodplain mapping as well as existing flooding concerns, CLOCA and the City of Oshawa are seeking a proponent to complete an updated comprehensive analysis of the area including a Two-Zone floodway and flood fringe analysis, development of flood reduction solutions, and completion of a future impact assessment.

Funding has been secured for this project through the City of Oshawa and matching funding from the National Disaster Mitigation Program (NDMP).

Proposals will be received by CLOCA administration, until 2:00:00 p.m., local time, July 13, 2018.
